This group is no longer meeting. However we are keeping this Wiki open so that you can review our past experience and hopefully learn from it.
This page holds the work notes of the AgileMethodologyProjectGroup. We are a group of people in Minneapolis who are new to XP and are trying to learn it together. It was decided that it would be good to post our meeting notes so that we could continue to
collaborate.
We are part of the AgileExperienceGroup mailing list on YahooGroups: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Agile_Experience_Group/
- The next meeting of the Agile Methodology Project Group is on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Simacor from 6:30-8:30. We will continue learning Ruby on Rails, completing our application for tracking books.
- Resource that you might find useful include the complete "Programming Ruby: Pragmatic Programmers Guide" at http://www.rubycentral.com/book/index.html. An installer for Ruby itself can be found at http://rubyforge.org/frs/?group_id=167. You should probably download ruby185-22.exe as this is a final, stable release. We want to learn something new, but want to keep the bleeding edge for others to explore.
- A special thanks to Simacor for allowing us to use their lab for meetings. [DirectionsToSimacor]
