2009-11-21 : OK, so the home computing environment needs work. I don't have free time, but it needs to be done. So, I'm going to make a list of tasks and work on it slowly.

• Enable access to all offline data.
• Backup.
• Usable computers in usable places; reduce unused equipment
• Fewer Bogies.
• Easier long term maintenance.
• Performant equipment.

• Get new HD for Envoy
• get and install Win 7 on Envoy
• get and install lastest office on Envoy
• Copy HD and decommission Rambler
• Copy and decommision external HD's

Investigate ZFS - easier mirroring?

Investigate virtualization: Easier backup. Isolation of services.
