Hello from San Francisco!

This morning we started out by getting brakfast at a local pastry shop. Michelle had hot chocolate and a croissant, and I had hot chocolate and a fruit, granola, and yogurt cup. Next we bought tickets and rode the cable car from right next to our hotel across the city to Fisherman's Wharf. We walked along the wharf towards Ghiradelli square. We had clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl there for lunch.

We rode the cable car again from there to the top of Lombard street. We walked down and up Lombard, the hopped on the cable car again and rode to the cable car museum. We explored the museum, which was small, but really neat. From there, we walked to Coit Tower. We went up the tower and got a really good view of the city. Then we walked on to Peir 39. We got tickets to go to Alcatraz on Sunday, and then wandered around Peir 39 and saw the sea lions. We had some ice cream on the Peir, then walked back to the cable car stop and rode the cable car back to our hotel. I got to stand on the running board at the fron of the car - what a fun ride!

When we got back to our hotel, we went shopping. Michelle found a cute black sweater at Nordstroms. We shopped till we dropped, then walked back to our hotel and went to bed.
