Well, it's 5am and Michelle is already off on her grand adventure in Washington DC. I miss her already. I'll just have to look forward to next weekend!
Michelle found another gecko this morning. I had him caught under my hand, and I had Michelle get the camera and take a picture. Unfortunately, he ran off again, and I lost him when he ran underneath me. We couldn't find him after that. I hope he didn't run up my pants leg. :)
The morning was still quite young, so I read a bit. I finished Ship Of Magic. It was good, but it didn't exactly end. It's one of those books that's designed to be a trilogy. The story reached a stopping point, but the story is by no means over!
I exercised, mowed the lawn, answered a bunch of work email, did the laundry and the checkbook. Basically, I got all my chores done, so I could spend the rest of my weekend however I wanted to!
Once the work day was over, I headed out to Hollywood Video to see if there were any games or movies I wanted to rent for the weekend. Actually my hope was that if they rented video game consoles, they might rent broadband adapters as well. No luck here. Their selection of games didn't impress me for whatever reason, and they didn't seem to be renting hardware. They just had some used consoles and you could buy a bunch of different controllers.
I gave that up as a bust, and went to Central Market to grab something for dinner. I got a chicken stuffed pepper and some cheese enchiladas, both of which were very good. I've been having fun recently getting a bar of dark chocolate and eating it slowly, so I though I'd do that again. I found a bar that was 85% cocoa! Wow. Well, it's a little dark even for me. :) I remember one of the packages talking about smokey flavors. Maybe. It's getting on towards chalky if you ask me. I guess I'll have to go back to 75%. :)
After that, I spent the evening playing Ratchet & Clank. Cameron will be coming over tomorrow, and I want to get warmed up again. ;) Man, it's been so long since I played, it took me a while to remember where I was in the story and what I need to do next. Eventually I got going again, thought. :) I love the gameplay.
