Today, Michelle and I went to Deidrick's for coffee and studying. I helped Michelle with some DICOM images for her AFIP case. We went to Central Market for lunch. It's Hatch Chile Festival! It's great - they have the chile roasters going outside, and hatch chile everything inside. We had hatch chile burgers, and got stuff to make hatch chile quesadillas for dinner tomorrow. We also saw Garret and his wife there, which was cool because we haven't seen them for years even though they ive in the Houston area.

We came home and I spend more time on DICOM stuff. Ugh. I haven't found much in the way of good libraries. It's actually not to hard to find tools that will allow you to view DICOM images and save them as JPG or what have you. But trying to find something that will anonymize DICOMs or allow you to manipulate file-sets is difficult to impossible. I've been looking for libraries, but everything I've found has been questionable. And you can't even understand the libraries unless you are steeped in the DICOM spec anyway. And the DICOM spec is big and ugly, naturally. So, in the end, I didn't accomplish much although I spent many hours searching, reading, downloading, and compiling.

For dinner, we went to bubble tea, and had leftovers from yesterday.

Guess what? They're putting in a Cold Stone across the street! Woo-hoo!

Hmm. AARP seems to think I'm fully eligible for membership benefits. But I don't even turn 30 until next year!
