I've decided to embark on another project. Another project!? Yes indeedy. I have tons of projects I don't get as much time to work on as I would like. However, I think I can start another project if I keep it low key.

I like web comics and similar artwork in general. Seeing other people do such cool stuff makes me want to do something cool too. But what? Secondly, my artwork is not half bad, but from what I can tell, the best way to get better is to draw a lot. (I have often noticed that the art in comic strips gets better as you go along.) I heard a quote somewhere that the most sure fire way to become a good artist was to draw 10,000 pictures. So, the more artwork done, the better.

Now, I've thought about doing a web comic, but the problem is that I don't have the time to draw a strip every day. I can't come up with a new joke every day either! But, taking a cue from "Limpidity", what if I just endeavored to produce one strip a month? Or maybe not even a stip, but even a picture or short story? Something creative, not involving computers. That I could do.

And of course my "strip" needs a name. I'm not even a great namer, but I heard a CD title on the radio that I'm going to shamelessly steal: Time Well Wasted!

So, yeah, keep an eye out. There will be something on a monthly basis. :)

I've got a start for this month. I've got some ideas. I haven't decided how much I'm going to call this month's chunk, but I did draw some sketches on the airplane this evening. Check 'em out!
