Today, we went to Moody Gardens. We went to the aquarium, which was pretty good, and to the rain forest. While not as impressive overall, it still had some pretty neat animals. The rain forest had giant catfish and a free roaming sloth. The sloth was neat. It was a big ball of matted fur hanging up in a tree. They also had fruit bats, chevrotains, coatamundis, and tri-colored squirrels. Traffic was really bad getting out there. Everyone was going to Galveston, and they were having some sort of graduation at Moody Gardens, so everyone was going there too. Traffic was backed up from the Moody Gardens parking lot to Beltway 8. Visiting the aquarium made us hungry, On the way home, we stopped at Joe's Crab Shack for dinner. It was pretty good. Michelle's shrimp platter was good; my mahi fillet was so-so. I should have gone for something less fancy. The sides were really good though!
