Today we went to see Star Wars Episode III. I thought it was pretty good. I liked Act I, and I thought they did a good job of making Anakin be a likeable character as long as possible. Obi-wan taking out Grevous was good. For some reason, based on the trailers I thought Palpatine could turn ugly or not ugly at will, so I was a little disconcerted by the way it actually happened. Mace Windu never seemed cool in any of the movies, but being able to best Palpatine redeems him somewhat. It was hard seeing Yoda defeated. The wrap up was rather anti-climactic, finally seeing Darth Vader. And I expected the Jedi ghost thing to be better introduced, rather than being some extra credit homework for Obi-wan. If it requires special prep, how did Anakin do it at the end of Return Of The Jedi (and how come no Sith did it?)
We also went to Central Market for a hamburger for lunch (mmm, so good), and got stuff for Father's Day gifts.
We went to Michaels and got yarn and picture frames. We framed the pictures we brought back from Peru. Now we just have to hang them up somewhere. :)
We broguth Chipotle home for dinner and watched Sideways.
