OK, so I just found this out. if you take a peice of paper, fold it in half as many times as you can (in the same direction), then unfold it so all the folds are right angles, you get a fractal! You get the dragon curve, also known as the Jurassic Park fractal. I couldn't believe it! I played with this fractal a little, but I couldn't figure out how to generate it at the time. Here it turns out all you have to to is fold a piece of paper in half! And, honestly, I find it kind of creepy that folding something in half generates something as bizarre as a dragon curve. Sure, a Koch Curve or a Sierpinski triangle I could buy, but a dragon curve?
