Oh oh! Michelle just called saying she's seventy miles out of Houston and the gas pedal doesn't work!

Well, Michelle called AAA and got a tow truck to bring her in to Houston. Her car is now at the local service station. Hopefully they'll tell us what's wrong tomorrow. I picked her up at the service station and we had lunch at Central Market.

I got my first California state quarter today!

Here's a tidbit for you: in 1995, I had a total of 60 transactions in my checkbook over the course of the year. In 2005, I had 85 transactions in March alone.

This afternoon, Michelle went to Anjali's baby shower, and then we went to a Caltech Admitted Student Reception held by a local alumnus. We came home and packed four our trip to Sacramento, and then went to bed.
