Today we worked on Michelle's paper some more. We did one last proof read and printed out all the images for the required hard copy, and burned the CDs. Now Michelle just has to get some signatures and ship it!

It was kind of rainy today. We went to Deitrick's in the morning (S'mores and Toffee Crunch). When I did my walk today, I thought the rain had let up. Well, it came and went, which, with a hat and frame pack, wasn't a big deal and made it kind of an exciting walk. Once I got home, the sun decided to come out. :)

We cleaned up the rose trimmings and staked down the drip line for watering the roses, and then it was time to go to Mark's for our fancy Valentines dinner. For an appetizer, Michelle had Guinnea hen and quail and I had a scallop sampler. The scallops were fabulous! I had rack of lamb and kobe beef short rib tips, and Michelle nagari(? - a kind of fish like marlin) and shrimp. For desert, Michelle had creme brulée with chocolate moose on top, and I had a slice of seven layer chocolate cake with a scoop of ginger-molasses ice cream. The food was amazing, and we were quite full by the end of the meal. We couldn't ask for a better Valentines dinner! :)
