I was listening to the radio on my drive home from the airport, and I just wanted to mention that I like the relatively new song "Baby Girl" by Sugarland. I like the way they hold the odd note at the end of "make our dreams come true". I'm sure there's a name for what they're doing but I don't know what it is. And while I'm being vague, when I first heard it I thought it was an interesting effect I'd heard before in another song, but I can't remember the name of that song either. :) Plus I just like the song, especially the last verse. :)
Made some more patches to the wiki. I added the robots meta tag to keep Google from looking at historical spam, and I added a ban on urls in the summary. Though I despise their lack of morals, I admire the spammers' creativity: if you can't put many links on one page, then put links on many revisions of the same page. Interestingly, the forewent the more obvious "create lots of bogus pages" and "put one link on every page" tactics. This may be because other wikis have edit frequency thresholds, though the spammers did do 8 updates per minute. I like having wiki updates show up on the site recent changes (front page). I check it fairly often actually, to see if anyone actually added a discussion comment on a page, or (now) to see if anyone made a change to the wiki. At the current rate of spam, it's pretty easy to keep up with the cleaning. Now I just need a way to delete historical pages.
