Today I was a sleepy head (I slept in late) because I stayed up till two last night writing that experience report thing. Michelle, on the other hand, apparently woke up at 4:30am and couldn't get back to sleep and so started her day. Sometimes our schedules are really off. :)

I exercised, then we went to Boba Yega's for lunch. We both had this kind of chopped steak sandwich, kind of like a philly cheese steak without the cheese. It was good, but it took quite a while for us to get our food I thought.

We took my car to get the state emissions and safety inspection done. We went to Mens Warehouse to get my suit pants and sport coat re-tailored so they fit again. It caused a bit of commotion, since I've lost 35 lbs and a couple sizes. They kept trying to tell me I should get a new outfit since they would have to completely recut the old one. Even if it costs $45 to get the pants fixed, it's still cheaper than buying a new pair, and they're useless if I don't get them fixed. My suit pants will fall off if I don't hold them up. Finally we convinced them to fix the pants and one of the coats. The other coat they refused to do. I think I'll try another Mens Warehouse and see if I have more luck elsewhere.

We did some grocery shopping, then rented a movie. We came home and worked on pruning the roses. Michelle did the pruning and I was the ground crew. She pruned the first few, but since it was going slow, decided to just whack the others back a bit and do the fine pruning another day. I also raked a little bit, and cleaned out the air conditioner corral.

We picked up my car, then watched the movie, Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow. It was good. At times it seemed like watching a live action version of The Polar Express, it had such a painterly look. It started out a little a little hard to follow because they had all these artisticly overlayed scenes and weird camera angles. Before too long, it settled down and was actually a fun movie. I liked Dex and his ray gun. I also liked the squigly armed robots and the flapping wing planes. I like Gwyneth Paltrow, but Angelina Jolie doesn't do anything for me. I did like her ejector seat /jet pack escape though. :)
