Some quick notes. We went to Central Market for lunch and to get groceries. Then we went to REI. I got a neat coat (thin, warm, water and wind resistant) and a new sleeping bag since my old one was getting pretty thin.

For dinner, we went to Ruth's Chris, using the gift certificate Michelle got for Christmas. We had the 12 oz. fillet, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. It was very good. For desert we shared a piece of molten chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, which they called a chocolate explosion. It was good, but you can't beat Ruggels for death by chocolate (though the chocolate bread pudding at Pappa's was right up there).

I played a bit more R&C this evening, since I have the chance. I've also been reading a little bit of Black Dogs. So far, it's good (I'm about 2/3 throught the first section). It's good, but it doesn't look like it's going to be one of my all-time favoritest ever like some of the posted comments might lead one to believe. But, hey, I haven't finished yet, so there's always a chance. :)
