Darn it, I say if the world makes more sense standing on its head, then stand it on its head and screw convention! If Geneva makes trade data available in a model that's too wonky to do the reconcilliation with Panorama and Sailfish that we need to do, why make Geneva our master database? Why not create a model that actually represents the concepts we need to represent? That has appropriate caches for the queries we actually want to do? Why not creat a model actually has the information necessary to create an apporpriate view for each peer model it has to sync with, instead of agonizing over how to bend these wonky models so they'll talk to each other? Cripes!

And yes, I know the reason (it's more work!), but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
