New Years Eve! Well, I admit I spent most of the day sleeping - one unwanted gift I got in
Sacramento was a cold, and the best cure I know for colds is lots of sleep. I spent the morning
helping Michelle's mom with her computer at work - she had gotten some sort of spyware or
something on there. It's always a pretty clear sign when something keeps mysteriously closing
regedit three seconds after you open it. Meanwhile, Michelle, Daniel, and Dad were
test driving cars. We had lunch at Bread Company (it's been a long time - I think it tastes better
in St. Louis than in Houston) and then I slept for the rest of the afternoon.
We had a good cheese fondue dinner, and watched The Great Escape (which Michelle's Mom had gotten for Christmas), with various people dropping off at various times as was their wont. Michelle and I celebrated new years on New York time, watching the ball drop and then heading to bed. :)
So long 2004! Hello 2005!
