Today we had (leftover) steak and eggs for breakfast with gingerbread scones (which my
sister made) - mmmm, very good. We went shopping, and I spent my Old Navy gift certificate on
another pair of khakis and a blue button down long sleeve shirt - yes, my uniform. :) Then we went
to see Finding Neverland (still good :) and went for a walk. I took my new camera and had a good
time playing with my new telephoto lens. The coup was a heron that came down and landed in the
creek where I could get a perfect shot. Unfortunately, it was a little dark. It was sunset, and
at maximum telephoto. I couldn't hold it still enought to get a perfect shot, even with vibration
reduction. Not bad though, considering. And if I had remembered to increase the sensitivity
(instead of trying to shoot at minimum sensitivity, ISO 200) I might have gotten it perfectly. Oh
well. :)

Then we came home and worked on the next puzzle and had turkey leftovers for dinner.

Nice shot Louis - esp with a plain old digital. Happy New Year.
