I figured out how to clean my car windows. In the past, I've sprayed windex on them and wiped
them, and they were still streaky. I never could figure out why, and thought maybe Windex wasn't
as good a cleaner as it claims it is. Well, I've been needing some stuff, so I did errands this
evening. I hit the ATM for cash and stamps, then I went to Target. I wanted to get some stuff to
clean my car (bucket, rag, car soap, mini-vacuum, Windex) and I needed TP. I was also going to
get paper towels for cleaning the windows, but they were waving people out of the store and I
forgot. I vaccumed out the car and then decided to work on the windows. They've been attrocious
ever since I accidently left the window cracked over a weekend. I grabbed a roll of TP and the
Windex and set to work. I did the usual and the windows were only moderately cleaner. I noticed
that the paper was still looking dirty after I wiped down the windows, so I decided to keep
cleaning the same area until the paper stayed white. What do you know! Pretty soon the window
was squeeking where I was rubbing it and the paper stopped getting dirty! It sure takes a long
time, though, and a lot of paper. Heck, I used about half a roll of TP just trying to get my
front window clean! I know the secret now, though. Plus, maybe if I clean them more than once
every three years they'll be easier to clean. :)
