Whew! Well, my computer works again! Both of them, actually. I got the batteries for my laptop (Scout) and the motherboard for my desktop (Sojourner). The batteries are charging, and I got my desktop put back together and working. It started complaining that the SCSI hard drive was insufficiently terminated. I'm not too surprised, since in fact it is not terminated, but it never complained before. It seems to boot and run OK, I figure I can fix that at my leisure. Oh, but it's so nice to have my computer back again! Yay!
