I spent quite a while today working with the Risk lead developer to get all the Risk code checked in to CVS (again). WinCVS was sure pokey refreshing the display when running over a network drive. But we got it done. I spent the evening tweaking the config file generator and the main batch file so it would run locally. I also tried using my prototype developer database and associated scripts that our DBA set up for me.
In other news, I got a hair cut. FINALLY. I feel much better now, thank you. :)
Michelle also found out that the Halloween party is on Nov 1 not Oct 31. Looks like I'll have to call the costume shop and see if I can extend the rental.
That reminds me of one of my favorite computer jokes: Why to programmers always get Halloween and Christmas confused? Because Oct 31 == Dec 25! Ha ha! I crack me up.
