Today was a big yardwork day. I've been letting the yard go for the last few weeks, so I decided that this week it was time to clean it up again. I raked the whole yard, which really helped. I mowed, trimmed, weeded the front and back, and cut back the bushes that are hanging over the fence. It's looking very nice again! I harrassed the ants with the hose, but it didn't seem to faze them for long. I guess I better call the ant guy to come spray again.

I did the laundry and spent time fighting fires at work. I took a break and played with my ocarina for a little while, and ended up putting up a little bit of new music. I picked out part of Mozart's Minuet in G (I think). I had a MIDI file of it, so I was digging around for it on my hard drive and found some other fun old stuff. I found a MIDI file of a Bach piece we did in Microtones that I really enjoyed. So I had to pull out the sheet music and play the MIDI and see if I could still sing it. I almost remember how. :)

When Michelle came home, we decided to get dinner at Central Market and bring it home to eat while watching Matrix Reloaded. I got a wild mushrooma nd goat cheese quesadilla, which was really good. I liked the movie more this time too. Maybe after seeing the trailer for the final movie, this one made more sense as a bridge. Plus I thought I got some new insights into Neo's conversation with the Oracle. During the movie, I thought she was trying to tell him that he might have more choices than he realized. Thinking about it afterward, I'm not sure how I came to that conclusion, so I'll have to watch it again!
