Teardrop Camper pictures

Michelle and I ordered a camper for my parents from Camp-Inn. Camp-Inn posted these pictures of my parents' camper as it was being built.

Week 1 (2006-06-18)

Body parts ready for assembly.
The body assembly is started on the side to help keep everything square.
Working on the kitchen area.
Finishing the kitchen area of the body.
Almost complete assembling the body front.
The body is mounted on a rotisserie for varnishing. This way, we can reach every surface.
After varnishing, the body is mounted on the frame.
The roof stringers are added. The headliner is installed and the front storage box lined.
Clamping the headliner until the glue dries. The front storage doors have been hung.
The stainless steel countertop is added. The white is a protective coating. The wiring has been started.

Week 2 (2006-07-02)

The right cabinet and backsplash are added.
The roof is insulated, the front storage box is skinned, and the door trim is installed.
In the nest.... Your teardrop is on the right end of the back row.
The front roof is skinned and the marker lights wired.
Convienience tray is added and the window openings are cut to final size.
The inside cabinet is hung and the roof is ready for the fan to be installed.
Fenders are hung.
Kitchen cabinets are installed.
The stove is mounted.

Week 3 (2006-07-09)

The hatch is assembled.
Front windows are installed.
Front storage box doors are hung and box is trimmed.
water system is plumbed.
Curtains are hung.
Roof fan is installed.
Sink is added.
Receiver hitch and leveling jacks are mounted.
Starting on the side doors.

Week 4 (2006-07-16)

Propane tank is mounted.
Doors are hung.
Door from the inside.
In the nest, the fledgelings are about ready to leave....
Mattress, bedding retainers and door screens added.
The Alcan cover is added.
The protective coating is removed and the roof rack installed.
