Louis's Pictures From 2-3-2001

Here are a few pictures from my trip to visit my friends back in Seattle. The trip was fun. Friday night we stayed up late downloading silly stuff (cartoon theme songs and things) using Napster. Saturday we visitied the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field, played video games at Illusionz, went to dinner at a Mongolian barbecue place, and had ice cream at the Cold Stone Creamery. Sunday, I joined in an a cappella performance at Crossroads Mall, then went to have dinner Lance's new house and watch "Dinosaur" before flying home.

The Museum of Flight was very cool. They had tons of airplanes, plus a neat exhibit where you got to fly a hangglider simulator. Here are Michael and Eric looking out at the main airplane exhibit.
Here is another view of the main exhibit hall. The Blackbird was neat. In fact, they had a Blackbird cockpit that you could climb inside! There were space exhibits as well, including a simulation where you were in an EVA suit trying to dock with a satellite.
Here is another picture of Eric and Michael. The Museum also had a neat exhibit about the Red Barn and how the Boeing company got started there.
This picture takes a bit of explaining. This is Eric's TV showing the video out from Jeremy's Dreamcast. The Dreamcast has a broadband adapter (network card) which Jeremy tricked into working, so we are surfing the web on a game console. The web page we are looking at is again a photo of Eric's TV from when we were first getting the HDTV satelite dish working. Ain't technology great? I think Eric is laughing at the irony of it all.
I just had to take this picture of Michael and Eric's DVD and video tape collection. Holy cow! I think they have a better selection than the local Blockbuster! Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised when Michael was able to name the publisher and price off the top of his head of every DVD we could throw at him. :)
