We crossed Central Park and went in to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Besides giving us a place to get out of the rain, there was a lot of neat art. There was an Egyptian tomb and medieval armor and neat musical instruments.

Here I am in Grand Central Station! I had been hoping to visit here, after reading about it in Diane Duane's books. Now where's that worldgate again?

This is a panoramic view looking out at the harbor to the south. This picture shows how tiny the Statue of Liberty actually was.

On Monday, we went to Princeton University to visit the school where Jeremy is doing his graduate work.

Here is a very artsy picture I took of a neat, ancient stairwell in one of the original Princeton buildings. Though it's not the focus of this picture, you can see where the stone stairs have been worn down by the passage of many feet and many years.

We stopped in to ane of the churches on campus on the way back. I thought this column was really interesting. Instead of stomber grey stone, this column is covered in an almost lighthearted jumble of pastel colors. Here is Michelle in front of the colorful column.

The colors on the column came from this stained glass window. Unfortunately this picture is blury. It also doesn't do justice to vividness of the colors, especially the amazing blues.
