Michelle came up to visit me this weekend, and we went on a boat tour of the Seattle waterfront and the Chittenden Locks.

We are approaching the locks. Here, the train trestle draw bridge is open.

Here we are at the downstream side of the locks. The big lock is on the left. The small lock in the middle is the one we will be going through. To the right is the dam, and further to the right, off the picture, is the fish ladder.

Gang way, we're coming through! The last of the spectators walk across the gates before they open and let our boat out the Lake Washington Ship Canal.
