Louis's Photos from 9-5-99
Labor Day weekend, I flew home to visit my parents. On Sunday, we went to Apple Hill, one of my favorite fall activities. This was opening weekend, so things were pretty quiet, but I still had fun!

The first thing to do on an Apple Hill weekend is to drive to Highhill Ranch and have an apple fritter for breakfast. Here, Dad, Kim, and Mom are eating their apple fritters. Kim usually gets an apple donut instead, but we convinced her to try a fritter. :) |

Here is a view of the inside of the apple sales barn at Highhill, from about where we have breakfast. Besides apples, they sell lots of different types of preserves here too. |

Here is another view, looking back toward where we ate. This shows the neat collection of antique mechanical apple peelers they have hanging near the ceiling. |

Here is the annual picture of Kim and I standing in front of the scarecrow at Highhill Ranch. |
I didn't take any more pictures, becuase the crafts booths generally don't like to be photographed.
