Louis's Photos from 3-14-99
It was a sunny day, so I decided to take a walk and try to find the correct path for the Bridle Crest trail. I walked over the freeway, then stayed on surface streets until I got to where the trail comes out at Marymore Park. Then I hiked up. It wasn't that far before I got to the spot I stopped last time. Apparently I was on the right trail all along. Anyway, I decided to spend some time exploring one of the side shoot trails. The one I took went to the bottom of the ravine. There were tree forts in the oaks, and a roap swing out over the ravine which was pretty awesome. I continued until the teeny trail finally ran out. I finally found something to take a picture of -- a small cascade. Finally I walked back out. On the way back, just past the park I found a sign laying on the ground that explained where the horses were supposed to go, after I'd figured it all out. It rained a bit on the walk home.

A tiny cascade. The picture is blurry because it had to be taken without a flash to look right. I really need my tripod! |

OK, so it's visual pizza, but I had to try to show where I was. It was so pretty, with just the sound of running watter and birds. |
