Louis's Photos from 3-6-99

It was a nice sunny day, so I decided to take a walk along the Bridle Crest Trail, starting at redWest and working south. I discovered the RedWest Wetlands at the sounth end of RedWest, and I think it is very nicely done. I continued from there across the freeway, where I lost the Bridle Crest Trail. I walked east across a park and got to another trail, but I don't know if it was the bridle crest trail or not. That trail continues east down a wooded ravine. It too was very pretty.

Wildlife count: I saw lots of birds: geese on the golf course, robin and other small, birds in the forrested areas, and two grey squirrels.

A nice picture of the Cascades, looking east from where I live.

How do you think I know?

I found some pussy willows.

I know it must be so."

A nurse stump.
This snag appears to be a favorite with the woodpeckers.
As far as I walked today, but the path continues enticingly...
