If you hope to understand the insanity that follows, you'll need a bit of history ...

Several years ago I began writing as a way to relax. It was fun, it was wild, I really should have paid more attention in College English 101. *grin*

After I'd been writing for about three years and posting my stuff to the local literary newsgroup, I was shocked to discover that there were actually people reading my ravings who enjoyed it. One of them, the instigator of the madness that follows, was Adrian VanWormer. He'd not only liked it, he'd contacted me and got permission to write a story of his own in the universe I'd created. Adrian sat down and created his own unique race, integrated it into my storyline, and proceeded to join the fun in a nice sane manner.

Now I'm not going to lay all the blame for what follows on Adrian, he had help as you'll soon see. Several other miscreants had been lurking in the shadows, they just hadn't been as open about writing in public as Adrian. When things got started though, both Louis Thomas and Larry Bemel crawled out and joined the insanity with a vengence.

It was a beautiful day in May 1995. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the bees were buzzing, the aliens were doing alien type things in the privacy of their spaceships. A day when everything was right with the worlds.

Then Adrian posted something a little different ...

Note: the stories that follow are the raw copies of the postings I saved as things happened. I haven't cleaned them up any, actually, I'm afraid to touch the silly things. *grin*
